Background:

A consumer products company required a simple and economical tester with which to measure the force required to crush their cartons. Because of the wide range of carton shapes and sizes, a flexible testing system was necessary.

How Mark-10 Helped:

Mark-10's ESM motorized test stand, like many of our other products, is designed on a modular platform. Because the base is removable and the end cap is a simple aluminum part, the customer was able to mount the stand on its side, and fabricated custom adapter plates, thereby lifting the frame off the work table. A custom 90° gauge mounting adapter was also produced by the customer, allowing for the orientation shown in the picture above.

This customer uses Mark-10 products for simple force measurement functions, such as peak capture.
