A Closer Look

Products

Mark-10 equipment – which includes motorized force testers, force gauges, torque gauges, wire pull testers, and sensor interfaces – is designed, engineered and manufactured at our facility in Copiague, NY. Since our founding in 1979, we’ve remained focused on creating highly functional and aesthetically pleasing testing equipment that is easy to use and maintain. Today, the Mark-10 name is synonymous with expert engineering and high quality.

Our testing equipment is made to make testing simple. All products feature intelligent design
elements, including:

Modular Design

As your organization evolves, so will your testing needs. You shouldn’t have to purchase a new test system every time you develop a new product or have new standards to comply with. Unfortunately, most systems are static and unchanging.

Mark-10 is different. Our systems are modular and designed to grow with you. Test frames can be easily modified with column extensions, grips and fixtures – which means you can update your system without making significant capital investments or waiting for sign-offs from your colleagues. Our integrated software can also be field upgraded with optional modules, so you can expand your system’s functionality as needed.

Integrated Electronics

Many types of test equipment and machinery can be difficult to service. PCBs, wiring, and other components are often scattered throughout the machine, requiring a costly manufacturer’s visit.

Mark-10 equipment is easy to troubleshoot and service. We design our electronics into a standalone module, quickly swappable for a new one without any special tools or processes, saving time and costs.

Easy Calibration

Testing equipment requires routine calibration. Most manufacturers require you to ship products to them or schedule a site visit for calibration, which can be expensive and time-consuming.

Mark-10 makes calibration easy. Calibration is open to end users, so you can calibrate your equipment without a site visit. If you prefer to have your equipment serviced by experts, we work with trusted distributors across the country and around the world who can calibrate products and provide on-the-ground support quickly and cost-effectively.

Customer Service

Mark-10 is a family-owned company. We aren’t driven by meeting corporate mandates – we’re driven by our desire to match you with testing equipment that gives you confidence in your products. Whether you need help configuring a testing system or have questions about our products, our experts will make sure you have the information you need to make informed investments and decisions.

Here are a few ways we work to ensure your satisfaction.

Product Experts on Every Call

When you purchase a testing system, you should have full confidence in its ability to perform and satisfy requirements. Unfortunately, that confidence can be hard to come by. Many manufacturers rely on chatbots or call centers with limited product knowledge to push specific tools or “answer” questions. Responses are typically slow, and answers are often inadequate.

In an era of outsourced customer service and AI-generated communication, Mark-10 proudly stands out. When you call or email us, a real person will respond promptly. Our product experts are uniquely positioned to answer your questions because they work closely with the professionals who design and engineer our equipment.

If you need help configuring a system, we’ll ask the right questions and listen to your answers before making recommendations. If you have a product-specific question, we’ll make sure you have the information you need to test your product. We will never sell you a system or accessories you don’t need and are always happy to schedule a demo.

We are proud to offer lifetime support on all products.

You shouldn’t have to jump through hoops to get basic information about your testing equipment. That’s why Mark-10 operates with complete transparency. We list all pricing on our website and publish detailed user manuals, 3D models and data sheets for each product – all without paywalls.

Competitive Lead Times

Malfunctioning testing equipment can lead to exorbitantly expensive delays. If you have an urgent testing need, you don’t have time to spare.

Mark-10 can deliver quickly in a crisis. Because our products are engineered and manufactured in-house, we typically have a robust supply of products in stock that we can ship in days – not weeks.

Use Case 1

Client: A global fast food restaurant chain

The Problem: A toy included in the restaurant's child-friendly meal packages was recalled, and the chain had to do a battery of tests. They had test frames from a Mark-10 competitor but needed more; new frames had a 6- to 8-week lead time.

The Response: Mark-10 shipped the customer 14 testing systems in 2 days.

Use Case 2

Client: A major automotive manufacturer

The Problem: An assembly plant broke a force gauge and could no longer conduct necessary tests. They were forced to stop the entire line, costing them thousands of dollars a minute.

The Response: Mark-10 had a replacement in stock. The manufacturer sent a courier on a private jet to collect it.
