How Mark-10 Supports Cable & Wire Harness Manufacturing Professionals

Whether you manufacture wire harnesses or check incoming harnesses as an OEM, you need to be confident that your connections are secure. Mark-10’s wire crimp pull testers give you that confidence.

WT-205 Testers

Our WT-205 Wire Crimp Pull Testers measure the pull-off force of crimped wire terminals up to 200 lbF (1 kN) for wire diameters up to 0.25” (6.4 mm). The tester comes in manual and motorized models: the WT-205 is controlled with an ergonomic lever, and the WT-205M is controlled with start and stop buttons. Both testers can be used to test crimped terminals to a break, a load limit, or a load-holding limit, and capture real and peak force values. Results are displayed on intuitive interfaces and can be transferred to a PC via USB.

Series R06 Tester

The MR06-200 is a portable, hand-operated wire crimp pull sensor ideally suited to field testing and audits. Like the WT-205 testers, the MR06-200 accommodates wire diameters up to 0.25” (6.4 mm) and applications up to 200 lbF (1,000 N).

To test using the MR06-200, squeeze the ergonomic handles to increase tension until the sample breaks. Peak force is recorded on a Mark-10 indicator, which can be connected through our Plug & Test ® technology.

Motorized & Manual Test Stands

If you need to test a larger sample or require a force greater than 200 lbF (1,000 N), you can configure a test frame-based system with a manual or motorized test frame and grips. Series F Tension/Compression Test Frames measure forces up to 1,500 lbF (6.7 kN) and can be configured to accommodate virtually any wire crimp pull testing application. Models ES10 and ES20 Manual Test Stands are a compact and economical solution that can be used to conduct a number of wire crimp pull tests.
